MY FIRST WORK FOR RADIO/MI PRIMER TRABAJO PARA RADIO

In 1996 I made the firs adaptation of 'El Manual del Guerrero Kundalini' (The Kundalini Warrior's Manual), for radio, because back then we were invited to an esotheric show and I was asked to read it on the air.

En 1996 realicé la primera adaptación de El Manual del Guerrero Kundalini, para radio, ya que en ese entonces fuimos invitados a un programa esotérico y me lo habían pedido para leerlo al aire.

It really didn't worried me, I don't know why, I simply did it and that was that, I felt the security of have used the language in the proper maner and stated it when walking by the hall waiting for the signal to our show's entrance, the operator, who flipped surprised through my script, called another person and showed the pages, the second person asked who had written such script, and the other answered that one of the guests had, the second person praised the work on the script: it was the producer.

Realmente no me preocupaba, no sé por qué, simplemente lo hice y ya, sentía la seguridad de haber utilizado el lenguaje de manera correcta y lo constaté cuando me paseaba por el pasillo esperando la indicación para nuestra entrada al programa, el operador, quien hojeaba sorprendido mi guión, llamó a otra persona y le enseñó el documento, la segunda persona preguntó quién lo había escrito, a lo que el otro respondió que uno de los invitados, la segunda persona alabó el trabajo: era el productor.

This was the ultimate test and passed, regretfully, there are persons that do not know how to write or interpret an idea to carry on within a production, they just write without thinking and have no idea on how to use the language in the diverse Media, forward on we'll talk about it and I'll show show some tips on how to improve this.

Esa fue la prueba de fuego y la pasé, desgraciadamente hay quienes no saben escribir o interpretar un idea para después llevarla a cabo en producción, sólo escriben por escribir y no tienen idea de cómo utilizar el lenguaje en los diversos medios de comunicación, más adelante hablaremos de ello y les presentaré algunos tips para mejorarlo.

FORMERLY KNOWN AS CALEIDOSCOPIO, THEN AS KA-BOOM! EL COMIC/ANTES CALEIDOSCOPIO, DESPUÉS ¡KA-BOOM! EL CÓMIC

In 1995 we are invited to take part in a project for a new newspaper that serves as an extention to 'El Norte' newspaper in Monterrey: 'El Reforma'. Along with a "friend" named David Mussi (who was the intermediary). we'd present a sunday suplement which we named 'Caleidoscopio' (Kaleidoscope), it was told to us that it was the best project that had been presented to them in years and that they were very interested, but weeks later the project was rejected because (as we were told) artists from 'El Norte' newspaper influenced not to give an oportunity to Mexico city's artists to work in their journal.

En 1995 se nos invita a participar en un proyecto para un nuevo periódico extensión del periódico del Norte, de Monterrey: El Reforma. Junto con un "amigo" de nombre David Mussi, (quien era el intermediario) presentaríamos un suplemento dominical al cual le pusimos por nombre Caleidoscopio, se nos dijo que era el mejor proyecto que se les había presentado en 50 años y que estaban muy interesados, pero semanas después se rechazó el proyecto porque, (según nos comentaron) dibujantes del periódico del Norte presionaron para no dar oportunidad a los "chilangos" de trabajar en su periódico.



Thus we decided to edit an issue #0 with the already mentioned production, with the goal to use it as a launching platform for our authoral and new talents projects, but unfortunately, due to problems with the then associate, who let her family to intervene in the Publishing House matters, and expected to pay for the second issue edition with the revenues from the first one, it just remained like that.

Así decidimos editar un cómic N0.0 con la producción antes mencionada, con la finalidad de utilizarlo como una plataforma de lanzamiento para nuestros proyectos autorales y de nuevos talentos, pero desgraciadamente por problemas con la entonces socia, quien permitía que la familia interviniera en asuntos de la Editorial y esperaba pagar la edición del segundo número con la ganancia del primero, sólo quedo en eso.

In this issue we edited my first author work: Spectrum, where I took part as co-author and writer, and was my first job as colorist, I was just starting out, in this case I came aboard to help in production times.

En este número editamos mi primer trabajo autoral: Spectrum, en donde participé como coautora y escritora, y fue mi primer trabajo como colorista, apenas empezaba, en este caso entré para ayudar en los tiempos de producción.
